Description:

PAANY is seeking a motivated law student to oversee all law school and law student related matters. The ideal candidate would be a go-getter with an attunement with the needs of law students, experience dealing with law school administration and an understanding of how PAANY can best serve this important community. The Chair will be supported by the other members of the Law Student Committee.

Duties:

1. Convene and preside over Committee meetings;
2. Set meeting agendas in coordination with relevant Officers;
3. Ensure that Committee activities align with the Committee’s approved mandate;
4. Facilitate productive participation and attendance by Committee members;
5. Ensure that minutes are prepared and maintained;
6. Serve as the primary liaison between the Committee, the Board, and relevant Officers;
7. Present written and/or oral reports to the Board as required.
